This Easter, Cornish Pirate and chef Rupert Cooper, who runs the popular, foodie pop-up ‘Borgia Bull,’ will take up residence at the Vine House Kitchen at Polgoon Vineyard.

Rupert, who will be dividing his time between the rugby pitch and the Polgoon kitchen this season, has devised a menu that uses local Cornish ingredients with Middle Eastern/South American street-food influences, created to pair well with the Polgoon range of wines, ciders and juices.

“It’s a simple, pared-down menu, but there’s something tasty for everyone,” says Rupert. “It’s food that I like to eat. Dishes that mix and match with each other, as well as with the wines and ciders that are grown and produced here at the vineyard.”

  • Cooper will be serving his delicious food every Weds|Thurs|Fri and Sat between 12-3pm from Wednesday 28 March and then every day from June 2018. 
  • Please note: If you plan to have lunch before a vineyard tour we recommend you book a table before 1am as tours start promptly at 2pm.
  • Wear warm clothes – the Vine House Kitchen is undercover but open to the elements, so wear your warmest woolies!
